Logs 30 disposals in loss
MSt Kilda Saints
August 14, 2021
Steele logged 30 disposals (12 kicks, 18 handballs) to go with five tackles and five marks made during Saturday's 85-71 loss to Geelong in Round 22.
ANALYSIS
Steele had a down performance by his lofty standards without any scoring efforts or high tackling totals to bolster his excellent work on the ball. Despite this game, he may have better odds in his final game against a weaker opponent.
Game-high 34 touches v. Sydney
MSt Kilda Saints
August 7, 2021
Steele drew 34 disposals, seven tackles, six marks, six clearances and a goal, behind and goal assist each Saturday as St. Kilda defeated Sydney 93-64 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
15 kicks and 19 handballs combined for a game-high 34 disposals and saw Steele top 30 touches for the fifth time in six showings on Saturday. The 25 year-old too registered at least seven tackles for a tenth-consecutive appearance, boosting his total for the year to an AFL-best 174, while also recording his first goal since mid-July. The St. Kilda midfielder now prepares for a critical Aug. 14 match-up with Geelong having eclipsed 100 fantasy points in each of the Saints last ten outings and combined for 301 in the team's last two contests alone.

July 24, 2021
Steele obtained 18 disposals, 13 tackles, five marks and clearances each and a single goal assist Saturday as St. Kilda edged out West Coast 94-86 at Optus Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Steele registered his worst disposal numbers of 2021 in Saturday's win, but finished one tackle short of a season-high 14 as the match leader in that respective category. His five marks also left him averaging a respectable six per appearance for the month of July. The 25 year-old has now topped 100 fantasy points in each of St. Kilda's last eight outings and, as such, currently finds himself sitting atop the AFL's leader board for total fantasy score with 2132 points.
Game-high 149 fantasy points
MSt Kilda Saints
July 18, 2021
Steele acquired 37 disposals, eight marks, seven tackles, four clearances and a single goal Friday as St. Kilda fell to Port Adelaide 74-61 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
The match leader for handballs (22) in Saturday's contest, Steele also set or tied a personal-best for disposals and marks (8) versus Port Adelaide. So too did he score his third major in two games and 12th of the year, which, along with the above, left the 25 year-old putting up a game-high 149 fantasy points. Steele has been nothing short of dominant in the three matches he's played this month, averaging 35 touches, 9.3 tackles, 6.3 marks and six clearances per outing. That, of course, has led to some big time fantasy production, with Steele now having failed to drop below 138 points in any appearance made in July.
Dominates against Brisbane
MSt Kilda Saints
July 11, 2021
Steele scored two goals and one behind to go with 32 disposals (13 kicks, 19 handballs) in addition to recording six marks and seven tackles during Saturday's 95-63 win over Brisbane.
ANALYSIS
Steele should be considered one of the best in the entire league in his current form after pushing the Saints to strong wins in three straight games. Even against teams higher up the ladder, Steele should be in the kind of form that few are able to slow down unless in good shape themselves.
