Veneziano made his major league debut in 2023 throwing just 2.1 innings in two appearances in late September. The 26-year-old was decent across 89.2 innings in Triple-A in 2023, compiling a 4.22 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and a 7.97 K/9. A left-hander, Veneziano is currently one of two healthy southpaws in Kansas City's bullpen, the other being Will Smith who will likely work in high leverage situations.
