Sewell (concussion) participated in Lions camp Wednesday after missing the three prior practices with a head injury, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
ANALYSIS
Sewell suffered a brain injury less than a week ago but has since been cleared to return to the field. Detroit will be happy to have their cornerstone tackle back, as he's started every game for the Lions since being drafted in 2021 and has already received Pro Bowl honors. Expect the 22-year-old to continue holding down the right side of Detroit's offensive line for years to come.

Could become league's best RT
OTDetroit Lions
August 13, 2023
Bill Barnwell of ESPN.com believes Sewell could supplant Lane Johnson as the league's best right tackle in 2023.
ANALYSIS
Sewell has the skills to play left tackle at a high level, but he's been deployed on the right side since Detroit already has a solid starter at left tackle in Taylor Decker. Coming off a Pro-Bowl season, Sewell's already among the league's top right tackles. The seventh overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft could be even better in his third year, while the 33-year-old Johnson may start to experience age-related decline after getting the first-team All-Pro nod at right tackle in 2022.
