2019–20 Fantasy Outlook
Relegated to the Korn Ferry Tour after a PGA Tour rookie campaign in 2018 that included missed cuts in half of his 26 showings, Griffin rebounded in a big way by finishing sixth on the KFT's Regular Season Points List in 2019. He won the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Championship in late April and threatened to go back-to-back the following week at the Dormie Network Classic, but Xinjun Zhang steered five strokes clear of his peers at the top of the leaderboard by tournament's end while Griffin tied for second. Griffin reached double-digit top-25 finishes on the KFT as he ranked eighth in birdie average and seventh in putts per round. The 31-year-old journeyman owns four total wins as a professional, but Griffin has yet to make his presence felt at the PGA Tour level. Read Past Outlooks
T34 at the VTO
April 5, 2021
Griffin carded a one-under 71 on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open to finish two-under and tied for 34th.
ANALYSIS
Griffin rebounded from a first-round 75 to make his sixth consecutive cut dating to a T7 at the Farmers Insurance Open in late January. Griffin ranked just T66 in GIR percentage and hit less than half of the fairways in regulation at TPC San Antonio, however. He'll still improve one spot to No. 56 in the FedEx Cup standings with his next start slated to come at the Masters, where he missed the cut in his Augusta debut this past November.

2017 Fantasy Outlook
Griffin's 2017 campaign got off to an extremely sluggish start with seven missed cuts in his first 11 events, but he bounced back tremendously with a win at the Nashville Golf Open in early July to salvage his season and earn a PGA Tour card for the first time in his career. Accuracy woes off the tee marked Griffin's Achilles' heal throughout the year, though he was still able to rank 14th in birdie average thanks to a hot putter. Griffin has appeared in just two PGA events during his career, missing the cut during both starts back in 2011.
