Latest Fantasy Rumors
Expected to sign bridge deal
According to The Athletic's Arthur Staple, assuming he's interested in signing an extension, Miller will likely be offered a one or two-year contract this summer.
ANALYSIS
Staple believes the Rangers will try to sign Miller, an impending restricted free agent, to a bridge deal in order to maintain some flexibility with the salary cap. Miller had his best year yet in 2022-23, setting career highs in goals with nine, assists with 34, shots with 113, hits with 162 and blocks with 105 through 79 regular-season appearances.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2020
Miller was the only Ranger to play in all 82 regular season games last season. He posted seven goals and 20 points, but looking at Miller's offensive numbers doesn't tell the entire story. The No. 22 overall pick from 2018 was a force in all three zones, particularly late in the season and throughout the playoffs. Miller will never be a huge fantasy asset because Adam Fox is running New York's No. 1 power-play unit, but his value to the Rangers is immeasurable. Scheduled for restricted free agency next summer and still just 22 years old, Miller is either going to get a bridge deal from the team, or, more likely, a big money long-term contract.
