Remains perfect in UFC
Albazi defeated Zhalgas Zhumagulov via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC 257 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
All three judges gave Zhumagulov the first round and Albazi each of the final two frames. A submission specialist by trade, it took Albazi well over a round to find any sort of rhythm on the feet. He was the far more active fighter in addition to doing a nice job targeting the legs of Zhumagulov. It was by no means a dominant performance, but it was a clear victory for Albazi in a fight which was essentially a pick 'em. The 27-year-old Swede has now won each of his first two UFC bouts and has lost just once in 15 career fights.

New opponent, new date
Albazi will square off against Zhalgas Zhumagulov on the UFC's Nov. 28 card, Marcel Dorff of MMADNA reports.
ANALYSIS
Albazi was originally scheduled to face Raulian Paiva on Oct. 31 but that fight was squashed after Paiva suffered a torn ACL in training. He has a new date set and will aim to follow-up a first-round victory over Malcolm Gordon in his UFC debut with another win versus Zhumagulov, who is coming off a defeat in his own debut against, ironically, Paiva.

Loses October fight
Albazi will no longer be taking on Raulian Paiva (knee) at the UFC event scheduled for Oct. 31, Combate reports.
ANALYSIS
Roughly a month after the fight was initially announced, Albazi will lose his opponent after Paiva was forced to withdraw due to what is being reported as a torn ACL. It remains unclear if the UFC will seek out a new opponent to keep the 1-0 flyweight fighter on the card.
