Earns wacky split decision win
FlyweightUFC
May 13, 2023
Bohm defeated Ji Yeon Kim via technical split decision (27-28, 28-27, 28-27) at UFC on ABC 4 on Saturday in Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
Bohm is leaving Charlotte with the victory she came for (her first with the UFC), although she didn't earn many new fans in the process. This fight was evenly matched most of the way, with Kim getting the slightly better of the action. Bohm received a gift at the end of Round 2 after referee Larry Carter docked Kim a point for kicking Mandy off of her after the bell rang. Bohm then ate an illegal knee from Kim early in Round 3 which cost the latter another point. Bohm was clearly hampered by the foul, but it certainly appeared as if she made a business decision to no longer continue, realizing she was probably ahead of the scorecards via the point deductions, or would be winning the fight via disqualification. Set to turn 34 years of age in the coming months, Bohm almost certainly would have been handed her walking papers if she lost her third straight bout to begin her time with the company, so in that sense her actions make some sense, but her roster spot still seems uncertain given everything that went down here.

Bohm agreed to face Ji Yeon Kim in a flyweight bout at UFC's May 13 event, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
The pair was originally slated to face off at UFC Seoul in early February, but that agreement was apparently never finalized. Bohm is 0-2 since joining the UFC, while Kim is in the midst of a four-fight losing streak.
Heading to Korea to face Kim
FlyweightUFC
October 20, 2022
Bohm will take on Ji Yeon Kim in a flyweight matchup at UFC Seoul on Feb. 4, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Bohm entered the UFC with an undefeated record but proceeded to drop her first two opportunities via unanimous decision. She may now find herself in a firefight against Kim, as Kim lands 5.79 significant strikes per minute (and also absorbs 5.77). Kim may be on a four-fight losing streak, but two of those bouts were given Fight of the Night honors, so the potential for fireworks is here. Both women stand at 5-7, with Kim holding a one-inch reach advantage.
Still searching for first UFC win

Bohm lost to Victoria Leonardo via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.
ANALYSIS
The fact Bohm was swept on the scorecards in a fight in which she entered as a slight -120 betting favorite is obviously a terrible sign. Bohm appeared to be the more competent striker whenever the two women engaged at distance, but she gave up two takedowns to Leonardo which turned into 7:06 worth of control time, essentially torpedoing any chance Mandy had of winning a decision. Bohm has now fought twice in the UFC, dropping all six rounds in which she has competed according to the six different judges who watched her fight. Set to turn 33 years of age in late July and with zero pedigree upon her arrival in the company, it's far from a guarantee Bohm gets another opportunity with the UFC.

Bohm will fight Victoria Leonardo at UFC London on July 23, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Bohm will return to the ring after withdrawing her previously scheduled match against Sabina Mazo on March 12 due to undisclosed reasons. Bohm most recently lost to Ariane Lipski via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night on Sept. 18, 2021. Leonardo will be entering the fight having lost to Mellisa Gatto at UFC 265 on Aug. 7, 2021. Bohm is 7-1-0 while Leonardo is 8-4-0.
Withdraws, not facing Mazo

February 23, 2022
Bohm withdrew from her scheduled flyweight bout against Sabina Mazo at UFC Fight Night on March 12 for undisclosed reasons Wednesday, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
The reason for the withdrawal remains unclear, bur Bohm is nonetheless off the card, and it's unclear when she'll next enter the Octagon. Miranda Maverick will step in to face Mazo as a replacement fighter.
